- artificial-intelligence processing;
- analytics;
- application monitoring, security, and error reporting; and

We do not sell your personal information.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and processes payment information under its own privacy policy. We receive information needed to manage your subscription, such as customer and subscription identifiers, payment status, and billing dates, but not your complete card number.
6. Google Analytics and cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions such as authentication, security, and session management.
We may also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use ThreadDetect. Google Analytics may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, and interactions with the website, using cookies or similar technologies. Where required by applicable law, we will request consent before enabling non-essential analytics.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and any consent controls made available on our website. Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of ThreadDetect from working correctly. Information about Google’s handling of data is available in Google’s Privacy Policy.
7. Email tracking
Emails from ThreadDetect may contain tracking technologies that tell us whether an email was delivered, opened, or clicked. We use this information to measure delivery, troubleshoot alerts, and understand whether our communications are useful. Your email application may allow you to block remote images or otherwise limit this tracking.
8. International processing
We and our service providers may process information in Japan and other countries. Those countries may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or other safeguards for international transfers.
9. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure ThreadDetect, maintain required business and tax records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we will delete or anonymize it. Some information may remain temporarily in backups or be retained where required by law, for fraud prevention, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no internet service or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or object to or request restriction of certain processing, where applicable law provides those rights.
You may also cancel your account, manage cookies through available controls, and unsubscribe from marketing emails. Service and billing communications may continue while your account or subscription remains active.
To make a privacy request, email prashant@threaddetect.com. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and protect your account. Our business address will be provided without delay in response to a verified request where required by applicable law.
12. Third-party links
ThreadDetect links to Hacker News and other third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information to them.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and provide reasonable notice if a change materially affects how we handle personal information.
